Family News
With our first child on the way in May, I've decided that it was time to start a new blog - like I needed something else to do...right. Actually, this blog will be dedicated to Family News. Thus the title "OikosAngello" - the Greek words for family and news.
Check it out for updates, pics, and simple thoughts on our sacramental life together in this particular household.
Fides will continue to be dedicated to deeper thoughts on faith seeking understanding.
Yeah...I enjoyed your story about one of your cats that likes to take walks with you. They do have distinct and interesting personalities. Ours can be a pain sometimes, but we love our pets. I perceive our care for them as part of our overall relation to the created order.
I also enjoyed your most recent "Lamppost" story. Blessings ~ RLS
Since I posted this, I got a call from the Humane Society. The cat I wrote about had been turned in to them. He ate dinner at home last night, went out as usual, and someone picked him up thinking he was lost. He has the microchip in him. I paid the $10 to get my own cat back and had been turned in, found in his own neighborhood!

Richard, I loved it! You may have picked up from my blog that we are a cat family. We have two. Thanks for this!

We love our two as well, although one is a little "challenged."
Thanks for your kind words. I would like for "The Church of the Holy Lamppost" to become a book. I appreciate your kindness.
Richard, my whole family has watched this and laughed over and over!
I'm so glad that you guys enjoyed it...and that it has brought a little laughter to your week.
It certainly gave me a good laugh...and I always need to find time and space for God's wonderful gift of humor. Blessings on you and your family.
